Study: Motivation to play dance game

The purpose of this pilot study was to evaluate the effect of a weekly multiplayer class on the motivation of children aged 9–12 years to play an interactive dance simulation video game (IDSVG) at home over a period of 12 weeks.

Study: Project GAME - MVPA with DDR

The goal of one of my first exergame studies was to quantify the amount of moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) in youngsters who play DDR. While playing DDR for 45 minutes, the youngsters were in the MVPA range for over 33 minutes (~73%) and the average heart rate was 142 beats per minute.
